How to re-partition the newly bought computer with only one C drive?

The computer you just bought has only one C drive? Too much data is not organized and can't find the file? OCD sufferers can't stand only one disk? Regardless of solid state or mechanical hard drive, the most important meaning of partitioning is to facilitate data management. Today I will teach you how to partition your hard drive! (The following partition takes the win 10 system as an example)

1. Right-click "This PC" and click the option "Manage" to enter the "Management" interface.

2. After entering the computer management interface, click "Disk Management" on the left to enter the disk management interface. Select an SSD, right-click and select "Shrink Volume".

3. Enter the desired amount of compression space in the edit box, and then click "Compress". (1GB=1024MB)

4. After the compression is completed, a new "unallocated" volume will be generated, right-click to select and click "New Simple Volume".

5. In the New Simple Volume Wizard, click Next.

6. Specify the default volume size and click "Next".

7. Assign a drive letter to the hard disk partition and click "Next".

8. "File system" generally choose "NTFS", you can name the new volume label, click "Next".

9. Finally click "Finish".
