Hydroplaning may occur when you're driving too fast on a wet road. If your vehicle starts to hydroplane, don't brake. Hard braking might cause your vehicle to skid out of control. Instead, take your foot off the accelerator and let your vehicle slow down to the point that hydroplaning no longer occurs.
