In Alabama, when are you allowed to turn left at a red light?

In Alabama, you may turn left on a red light when you are turning from a one-way street onto another one-way street, unless there is a sign posted there that prohibits it. You must still come to a complete stop and yield to all pedestrians and traffic before you turn. Note: The laws on turning left on red are different in some other states. When traveling out of state, always check the local traffic laws. [Traffic Signals; Chapter 5: Signs, Signals and Road Markings; Alabama Driver Manual], [AL Code § 32-5A-32]
